[PDF] Barrios Mangoré, Agustin - Isabel [unpublished]

Attached here is the score/sheet music/partitude of Agustin Pio Barrios Mangore's unpublished piece "Isabel (gavota)," and more information. This piece is interesting because of its use of the left hand thumb over the fingerboard to fret notes. It is my transcription from the 1913 recording made by Barrios himself, which was only discovered recently (2008) by Barrios scholar Federico Sheppard.

cheers and best wishes,

Tony Morris

Thanks a lot. The drawing is in the Richard Stover’s book „Six Silver Moonbeams – The Life and Times of Agustin Barrios Mangore” with such description, “This pencil drawing, dated June 3, 1908, is the only example of Barrios' considerable talent as a caricaturist and calligrapher. The inscription states: "(From the natural) To my beautiful friend Isabel. A. Barrios"”.
