[PDF] Murray, James - Away in a Manger

Post by mverive » Thu Dec 18, 2014 7:34 pm

Just in time for Christmas, I needed a simple version of a few Christmas tunes to play with a harpist and recorder player. Nothing that I had seemed to work well, so I came up with a few that we could all work from. This version of "Away in a Manger" was pretty much "on the fly", but seems to work well.

In the spirit of the season, I thought I'd share it. If I get the others transcribed, I'll post what I can (as long as they don't violate copyright).

Feel free to play around with the articulations (or omit them altogether, if you'd like).

Thanks for the arrangement James, this is one of my favorite Christmas tunes.
