Nocturne - Guitar Music of the 19th Century

A must have! Just released this album spans the late classical and early romantic periods with works of Regondi, Coste, Legnani and Paganini. This guitarist paints my favourite musical landscape exquisitely.

Having listened to that and the samples on his site, I share your enthusiasm. Quite delightful - the playing, choice of music and tone of guitar

I bought this cd and I was very pleased with the quality of the recording, the bright yet sweet tone and his choice of works for that album.
He's playing an 8-string guitar, and maybe it's not such a big deal, but his Bach recordings get really enriched by the extended bass range. He mentioned he's preparing a new album with the Bach violin sonatas transcribed for 8-string. Looking forward to listening to that one!

That sounds so rich even on my computer speakers. A+ recording quality. Great without sounding augmented.
