I cannot forget about the 10-string guitar that I converted and sold to a friend in China.
As I have given up guitar making after shifting to my new home, so I have no choice but to buy one. 10-string classical guitars are generally much more expensive than a similar 6-string classical guitar.
I have just successfully bidded for a 10-string classical guitar from a Japanese auction-site. The guitar is on it's way from Japan to Singapore where I live. I paid just below US$750 for this guitar.
I have no clue what I will be receiving. Just relying on Google translation from Japanese to English, photos provided and my gut feel. I guessed for that amount of money it is worth taking the risk if it sounded badly, I still have a choice to add a new new top like I have done before. I just love the shape of this beautiful case with its tapered head unlike those that I usually see with a flare out head.
