Best solution to amplify a travel guitar

Post by andreas777 » Sat Dec 16, 2017 5:23 pm

I want to amplify my Hopf classical guitar, an old guitar with detachable neck that I use to play during my holiday trips around the world. The amplification should enhance the sound in a way so that I can play in front of a small audience standing just in front of me. The main requirement is that the solution should not generate much more weight. At the moment I think about an under-bridge pickup and some kind of micro or headphone amp.
For example:
* Fishman PRO-AGX-094 undersaddle pickup
* Marshall MS-2 micro amp
* Vox Amplug 2 Clean headphone amp together with a portable speaker (e.g. Trust SP-2900P that I already own)
Any experiences or comments?
Happiness is when what you think what you say and what you do are in harmony.
