Greetings from Los Angeles!

Post by koosmann » Fri Jan 06, 2017 9:33 pm

Hi everyone - I've been playing guitar on and off for just under 20 years, switched to classical guitar about 10 years ago, and have been studying it more consistently for the last 5. I had rock/blues lessons when I was younger, but have been self-taught since starting classical guitar. Most of that time was spent learning from material on *** Site blocked for copyright reasons *** (a great resource for classical tablature), but this year have put more effort into learning music notation and finally have a baseline level of comfort with it, which has a opened up a large world of music to explore.

I have a lute too, but that doesn't see nearly as much use (it's pretty difficult to play!).

Looking forward to being part of the community!

Thanks Erik! I have a quick question, I just posted a question about the notation of a piece I'm learning. There are no public domain copies out there, but is it ok post snippets from those scores here as an aid to the question?
