Hello from Leverkusen

Post by jcandidel » Tue Apr 18, 2017 4:13 pm

Ahoi everyone!

I'm Jörg, mid-40s self-teaching beginner in my first year. In my youth I played clarinet for 10 + years but abandoned decades ago. A year ago, when my two elder kids started guitar lessons I decided to give it a try myself and since then I practice every day. Started with a very nice German course by Jens Kienbaum before diversifying both with a number of books from Michael Langer, Hubert Käppel and googled scores e.g. from JF Delcamp.

So far I enjoy the freedom of autodidactism but do of course spent some effort on sorting out technical questions with the help of printed and internet based resources. Looking forward to becoming a member of this apparently very nice community.

Best wishes
