Greets from Cologne/Germany

Greets from Cologne/Germany

Hello everybody, I started to play guitar at the age of 14; now in my mid 50ties and still learning :D since I didn't played at all for several years
but as I'm getting older I thought why not give it another shot. I play several types of guitars besides the nylonstring (6 & 12 steelstring acoustics, semiacoustic jazz box, solidbody electrics) . Also messing around with some electronic devices (loopers, delays etc) from time to time in my homestudio. However, right now I try to expand my repertoire on the nylonstring with respect to renaissance, baroque, classical and contemporary pieces. The problem always is: too much beautiful, interesting pieces and too less time to study all of them...since I'm not a pro but just another living room guitarist with a full time job. Personal highlight for me this year: have met Ralph Towner after a solo appearance in Germany and was lucky enough to had a little chat with him. He always has been kind of a personal idol for me. I'm also very much interested in South-american guitar music (Victor Villadangos: Guitar Music of Argentina, Vol. 2 on heavy rotation right now). Looking forward to read interesting posts here in the forum.
