Hello from Silicon Valley

Post by Brazilianmusic » Fri Aug 11, 2017 1:46 pm

Hi everyone,

This is my first post. I grew up with Brazilian music and everybody there plays what we here in the US call a classical guitar - nylon strings, etc. I only learned this was a classical guitar when I arrived here in the US.

I took 2 years of classical guitar lessons but arrived at the conclusion that I like to play my "classical guitar" with pop, samba, and music my friends and I can sing along.

I own a wonderful Luis Molina guitar that I absolutely love. I had strap buttons put on it and I now play about 2 hours a day for fun. I enjoy the sweet sound of the guitar and strum on it with friends.

This is the forum for classical guitars, so here I am!
