Hello from Northern Indiana,
I am a retired USAF officer and have been playing guitar for about 35 years with several quite long breaks. I would consider my self a perpetual beginner and love to play/practice as often as time permits. I have been taking lessons once weekly for the last eight years from the same teacher I took lessons from before a 10 years or so break.
My guitars are a Hernandis Grade 1 (made in Japan -1974) and a Yamaha GC21C (2006).
My other hobbies are reading, hunting and mowing lots of grass, if that can be called a hobby.
I work for a county park department as a leisure services supervisor which entails supervising a canoe rental program during the summer months, driving tractors for hayrides in the fall and supervising the winter sports programs of innertubing on a man-made,snow covered hill and cross-country ski rental on approximately 6 miles of trails in the park where I'm based.
These manual labor jobs can take a toll on hands/nails on occasion but I keep pressing on.
I have enjoyed reading posts on Delcamp for some time and have benefitted from the advice from many members and been inspired by many others.
Thank you all,

Thank you for your service! My son-in-law is Airborne for the army, and I couldn't be any more proud of him.
I hope to see some of your playing online soon.
