Hello ,
I wil introduce myself a little because my english is not very good sorry for that.
I heard a LP of Chet Atkins (not Segovia) and sinds then I played the guitar when I was about 18 years old.
I live in the Netherlands 67 years old and played classical guitar for about 30 years as an amateur, I studied 3 years at the conservatory of music.
Because of an disease I had to stop with my study.
Sinds a year of 5 I picked up my guitar again and had to start over again study classic guitar (Pujol) guitar at home.
Unfortunately my nails went very bad because of this disease en 3 months a go I had to cut my nails so now I' m playing without
nails after so many years it is very very hard to switch... :(

Now I study the etudes from Fernando Sor because he played without nails to but it is not easy I can tell.
As a hobby I begon 3 years a go building a Barok guitar and I just finisht a 10 string Ramirez copy and now I start building the same guitar
for my son ( he plays for more better then me because he graduated the Conservatory as a solist)

As guitar builder I m a novice but as a job earlier in my live I had a education as instrumentmaker for molds etc. for Lath and serial production in a metal (plant ?) factory.
My goal on this forum is to learn as much as possible about guitar building and Barok music .

Hope many of you can help me out If I run in problems with my new project the 10 string Ramirez Classic guitar :D .
