Greetings from Brazil :D

Hey ya!

I guess this is the first forum post I have ever written in my 23 years of living, so cut me some slack if I don't excel here
I'm Ster and I currently live in Brazil. I'm a "eternal beginner" when it comes to classical guitar - more frequently than it should, studying gets in the way of me actually sticking to the guitar practice :( . However, I got sick of being a beginner and I'd like to actually and finally move foward, which explains me registering in this forum. Currently I'm self taught, but I'm considering searching for a teacher. Let's see what you guys recommend.
Although the love for music is what drawn me towards learning an instrument, it was the technique that made me choose classical guitar - i find it fascinating. But talking about music itself, I have a thing for classical music (surprise), blues, rock and jazz.

(Am I doing this post thing right? Hope I am)

So, I guess that's it! (never been really good at ending a text). I'm eager to learn a lot from you guys.

- Sterphany.

Welcome to Delcamp!

If you haven't already, please take a moment to read this page for a good rundown on how the forum works, rules, history, etc. You have found a great source of classical guitar knowledge, as we have a wide assortment of members, from beginners to performing artists, with a number of fine teachers, historians, and luthiers too. So feel free to ask any questions you might have, but consider using the search function first, as many topics have already been discussed at length.

If you participate in other online forums, you might notice that things can get pretty heated at times. Delcamp takes great strides to avoid that. Here is what Mssr. Delcamp himself has to offer on that.

It is important to note that there is a requirement to post an average of once a month. Members not meeting this standard may have their memberships terminated.

Adding your location to your profile is a nice touch. Many of us have made new friends from doing just that.

Again, welcome to the forum!
