Hi from near Seattle & thanks

Post by mike » Thu Oct 05, 2017 3:48 pm

Hi everyone

I'm Mike - been playing / tormenting the classical guitar for 9 months. Since starting to play I've intermittently lurked on these forums and found them very useful - thanks all!

At the moment I'm working my way through Frederick Noad's
Solo Guitar Playing Book 1, and recently picked up Pumping Nylon.

My first guitar was the Yamaha C40 and my second a Yamaha SLG200N silent guitar (let sleeping kids sleep). Currently trying to figure out upgrade for C40...thinking a spruce top Cordoba C9 or C10 - but finding places they're in-stock locally is challenging.

Hi Mike. Welcome to the forum. We have a "buying advice" subforum where you may get useful advice about upgrading.

But first, if you have not already done so, please have a look at our welcome page for more information about the forum and its rules. Once you have posted a second message you will be able to access all the mp3 files and videos in our recording sections, all the members' scores and levels 1 - 3 of the Delcamp score collection, and post your own scores and recordings. After 20 posts you may subscribe to the 020 usergroup with associated membership privileges including access to the higher levels of sheet music in Delcamp's library (see here).

It is helpful if members include their location in their Profile - click on your username and edit.

Enjoy your visits.
