Greetings from Hamburg

Post by richtm » Sun Oct 22, 2017 6:22 pm

Dear unknown friends of the guitar,

I play the guitar since 1988. I first started autodidactic on an easy red - colour US build guitar, playing Peter Burschs „Gitarrenbuch“ and at the end of the book I felt ready to really start.

In my schooldays in Darmstadt I started with the Heinz Teuchert classical guitar school and ended up with playing preludes by Villa-Lobos, pieces of Lauro and the Variations by Sor, op.9. At that time I played an Antonio Sanchez massive build cedar top guitar. I had regular guitar lessons for about 10 years.

Since 2014 I picked up again intensely the guitar (in the meantime I was playing easy and intermediate stuff from Bach: Menuet/ Burree, Carcasi and Carulli). I bought other guitars by Bernabé, Köröskenyi and Andreas Kirmse.
In the past couple of months I tried my best with les barricades mystérieuses by Couperin and the Bach Air.

Best wishes
Ernest Köröskenyi 1977 Cedar top; Pauline Bernabe Especial 2007 Spruce top, Andreas Kirmse 2017 Cedar Double-top
