Greetings From Kanazawa, Japan

Post by yogary9 » Tue Nov 07, 2017 3:06 pm

Hello guitar people! I'm spending a year in Kanazawa Japan despite my permanent home being in California, USA. I have been dabbling with playing the guitar off and on (mostly off :( ) for 20+ years but recently started taking lessons here and am going to be making a push to spend daily quality time on it, so far with much success recently! I have mostly been a steel string acoustic player although have dabbled with electric and classical. I recently purchased a nice entry level (Model 20) 1976 Ryoji Matsuoka classical guitar here and am impressed by its sound given its price! I have historically been much better at accumulating guitars than actually playing them  . We all have our flaws right? :) I look forward to tapping the wisdom of this group once in awhile, thanks for your patience!

Hi yogary9,

Welcome to the forum! Please have a look at this page for some useful information to get you started, including links to the rules and helpfiles. After your second message has been approved, you will have access to all members' scores and recordings plus the first 3 levels of the Delcamp score collections. After you have posted 20 messages, you can apply for the 020 group, which will give you access to the remaining levels. Just ask if you have any questions. I look forward to seeing you around!

Best wishes,
Classical Guitar Forum.
