Hello from Sheffield, England

Post by Narry » Tue Nov 14, 2017 10:16 pm

Hi everyone,

My name is Narry and I’ve been playing guitar for 18 years on and off. Started the classical route when I was 10 then and reached grade 4 and then moved on to rock music where I’ve studied to grade 8.

Recently I’ve become increasingly interested with classical guitar and started playing again. Hoping for tips and recommendations for artists to listen to as well as advice on how to improve my playing.

Many thanks,

Luke

Hi Luke,

Welcome to the forum!

I don't spend as much time one the forum as I used to, but it's good to have another member from Sheffield here.

I didn’t realise there were luthiers in Sheffield either! Do you run a shop or just do it in your spare time?

It's a full-time career - although I'm only in the workshop in Sheffield 3 days a week - the other 2 days I'm teaching in Newark.
