Greetings from New Orleans, I'm brand new.

Hey, I finally registered. I've been looking at the forum for awhile now though.
I'm 58 last week and I intend to get something off my bucket list. Learning to play the guitar. I've played with them for a number of years, but never took it seriously enough. I had an Eastman 7 string that was the best sounding archtop I ever heard. So when they started making classic guitars, I thought I could get something decent till I figure out what I want. They've already stopped making them and when I contacted them I got some lawyer speak be excuse. Anybody know what happened.

Thanks, this is possibly the most informative site on the web.
So glad I finally registered.
Now my theory on the Eastman controversy.
They were having the classical line built in the Martinez factory. The largest manufacturing company of classic guitars on earth, which is where Cordoba and Kenny Hill guitars are made that aren't made in their respective custom shops. Kenny just came out with a 2400 dollar Chinese guitar that was basically a c81 , but the c81 is a 1000 dollars less and no truss rod. You wanna sell thousands of Cordobas or a few Eastman. Give me some perspective. Thanks from New Orleans.
