Kind Regards and a Happy new Year from Vienna

Post by flohVienna » Mon Jan 01, 2018 11:46 am

Hi all,

I have been playing classical guitar in my youth for about eight years and for some reason completely stopped playing (studies, work, children ... and other excuses). I touched my instrument only very seldom and played on occasions like Xmas to sing some songs together, but never seriously practiced the instrument. Until a year ago when I listened to a friend of mine playing "Asturias" - the bug got me again ... I started practicing in regular small units, and slowly bits and pieces came back - some Sor, Op. 60 Etudes from Carcassi, Giuliani , Tarrega's "Lagrima", ...

I am here to join experiences and am especially interested how others started their path back into playing guitar after a very long break.

A happy new year from Vienna !
