Hello from India

Hi everyone,
I'm Aakash Saha from Kolkata, India. I started playing the guitar at the age of 12. I did my undergraduate in Chicago College of Performing Arts with Denis Azabagic. In 2009 I, along with a group of classical guitarists founded the Calcutta Classical Guitar Society and in 2010 we had our first Calcutta International Classical Guitar Festival which is now the biggest in India and one of the biggest in Asia.

I arrange Bengal folk music for the classical guitar and currently working on a project called Indian Songbook. Arranging and composing music with Indian roots and themes and creating Indian repertoire for the Classical guitar. Johannes Moller is guiding this project.

If you have not already done so, please have a look at our welcome page for more information about the forum and its rules. Once you have posted a second message you will be able to access all the mp3 files and videos in our recording sections, all the members' scores and levels 1 - 3 of the Delcamp score collection, and post your own scores and recordings. After 20 posts you may subscribe to the 020 usergroup with associated membership privileges including access to the higher levels of sheet music in Delcamp's library (see here).
