Hello From Phoenix!

Post by magradyjj » Fri Jan 26, 2018 7:17 pm

Greetings all:

Just registered and very excited to join this great community! I have a Bachelor of Music in Classical Guitar Performance, graduating back in 1981. Long story short, upon graduation, I then pursued a 35 year career in Technology / Software. Somehow it all made sense :). Nearing retirement, I have rediscovered my passion for guitar over the last year. Currently studying with Eduardo Costa, Brazilian guitarist who lives in Tucson (who is fantastic, please check him out!). Also, playing in some ensemble groups local in the area (guitar orchestra) and any open mic venue that will have me :)

This community is a great resource and I have been reading posts for a few years. Its about time I joined............

Look forward to engaging!

Best - Joe

Greetings from the west valley. If you're looking for an open mic opportunity, take a look at the Phoenix Guitar Society which meets the second Saturday of each month at a restaurant/coffee shop called "The Refuge" downtown.
