Luthier: Jose Ramirez
Built: 2007.
Scale length: 650 mm
Nut width: 53.8 mm
Top: German spruce
B/S: Rosewood
Bracing: Standard ramirez bracing
Fingerboard: Ebony - Built for medium large to large hands.
Action: low
Sound: Spanish. Loud. Beautiful and warm. Caramel.
Tuners: Schallers, ebony buttons
Condition: I have owned the guitar from new. It has a new very minor superficial knicks on the varnish.
Price: £2000
Case: includes a Hiscox case.

I have owned and played this beautiful guitar for 10 years (from new). For me it is just time to move on to another guitar that I am having hand built. I welcome people to come and try this beautiful guitar and examine it before making a decision.

It has matured beautifully and has a lovely warm and loud Spanish sound. There are a few very minor superficial knicks on the varnish in places, but nothing that isn't expect of a second hand instrument. I have taken great care of the guitar and practiced and played on it almost every day.

Update: Postage can be arranged. PM for details.

There doesn't seem to be as much interest in the guitar as I originally thought. Is it the price I wonder?

I think it could be your desire to sell locally to Cupar...

I assume it has a hard pro case. In that case, so to speak, all I would do is wrap it in layers of bubble wrap. I've been doing it that way for years, and have never had a problem. I get a big roll of the stuff from a place in Edinburgh. If you want me to get the address, I will.

Yes, I have a brand new Hiscox case for the guitar. Is it a case of wrapping *both* the guitar and the case? Or just the case?

Thanks for all your help by the way :)

If the guitar is loose inside the case you should use some of the bubble wrap as stuffing.

Is it possible to edit the original post to enter new details about postage?

One little extra point. If you do ship it, remember to loosen the strings to save any problems.
Getting better bit by bit, day by day.
