- Type / luthier: classical/Juan Hernandez company, actually signed by Alberto Hernandez, who is now the main luthier for the small company
- Model: "Luthier"
- Year of construction: 2018
- Scale length (mm): 650
- Nut width (mm): 52
- Top: Spruce
- Bracing (fan/lattice/other): lattice
- Back / Sides: pauferro - rosewood
- Fingerboard / (bridge): ebony
- Neck: cedar, reinforced with carbon fibre for stiffness
- Varnish: nitro
- Sound: warm, strong, can be loud if you push it, or very quiet
- Condition: Excellent - no nail marks (I play without nails)
- Price: £2200 plus shipping Reduced to £1850 (Mod edit)
- Case: Original hard, padded case
- Viewing: Edinburgh
- Location: Edinburgh

I have been delighted with this guitar, so much so I ordered a 10-string from the same company, which has also turned out to be excellent, as predicted. I also fancy having one of their Torres guitars, which I think would suit my no-nails playing a little better than this "Luthier" model. Hence the sale.

First a couple of recent videos, then pictures taken on the day this ad went online, 18 October, 2018.

Superb guitar and videos: warm sound and always with the face of illusion of the one who discovers the score for the first time.
Good luck Rob!

That's a fantastic guitar, although I am not a fan of lattice. Is the carbon fibre reinforcement inside the neck, because I don't see on the back of the neck? Thanks.

Yes, inside the neck. They don't make it a visual feature on this one.

I have to say I was not a fan of lattice, but have learned there's more than one way of doing it. They say on their website that after ten or twenty (I can't remember which) years of doing lattice tops, they have found the perfect balance of strength with traditional Spanish tone. I never believe anything I read on websites regarding tone, but I have to say that this does not sound like a lattice guitar at all, and neither does my 10-string.

What you are hearing is low-tension Savarez White Card strings. I'm sure you'd get much more volume if played with nails on hard-tension strings, but that's not the way I play. It's plenty loud for my room - louder than any guitar I've had before, but not uncontrollably so.

caneti3 - I don't practice pieces to the death before recording them, as that sense of exploration diminishes with each run through. I'm not one for perfection in anything, preferring a sense of wonder, if possible. I'm pleased you noticed that.

Reduced to an embarrassing £1850 for a quick sale. I will not go lower for this really beautifully-made and beautiful-sounding guitar.

Or swap for a Russian 7-string!

Hello, I like this guitar. Is the certificate of purchase still available? Is it sent with the guitar? In addition, can this guitar be sent to China? thank you

Not when you only have three posts here, and a false name. Sorry. I don't know who you are.

Looks like a great buy for someone. If I was in the market I’d be interested. I’m sure the right buyer will come along soon....
