I had this guitar custom made by Joseph Redman. It plays absolutely beautifully. Sound is dark, trebles are particularly good--tons of sustain. Arm rest is removable and is attached using a double sided tape. It can be removed without any damage to the French Polish, but is secure enough to stay on for months. Joseph generally charges over $4000 for this model. The use of purple heart for the binding and rosette is stunning. The craftmanship is impeccable.

That rosette is very beautiful and unique. Is the fret wire gold-colored? Jescar makes gold-colored EVO wire, which is close to stainless steel in durability. I have played electric guitars with Jescar EVO, bending and vibrato was buttery smooth. Did you use EVO wire for this build?

My Joseph Redman has that same fret wire...I guess I always assumed it was brass haha...but now I'm not sure. Any rate it is great to play on whatever it is!
