* 650mm scale
* 52mm width at nut

Located In Mount Pleasant SC (near Charleston) where it may be viewed and played.

These Lucida Picado guitars were very popular. The Importer stopped importing these guitars around 2006. The Spanish made products took some major price hikes and the US distributors ceased the orders.
All solid wood. Spruce and Cypress. Good action. Great tone! Very “punchy” with signature flamenco growl when pushed.

The 797 models were made at the P Saez facility in Valencia. So this guitar is the same as the Saez P22 at that time. A new P22 was $1600.

This guitar has only been played about 30 times in my home and always stored in the case in a climate-controlled area. Stopped playing it when I decided to concentrate more on classical. To the best of my recollection, I purchased this guitar new in 2009. I don’t think I’m exaggerating to say it is virtually as new. Showed it to my teacher who was very impressed with its tone and condition as he played some great bossa nova riffs.

SKB molded case included. Fresh LaBella 2001 flamenco strings installed+ extra set and tuner included.

A rare guitar and a desirable guitar. Nice guitar for anyone getting started in playing Flamenco or even classical. Killer quality for the price point.

Some 15-20 years ago, Lucida Artista Picado (797) and Concerto (777) were making huge waves on guitar forums. Excellent prices for fantastic guitars. I had at least one of each (one of my old Concertos is with a co-worker now). My Picado actually had a barely visible (but visible nevertheless) "PS" insignia (Prudencio Saez) that you could see in relief in the headstock finish.

In my opinion, this is an EXCELLENT beginner guitar. Good luck with the sale!
