DE €.1590 OBO Kazuo Ichiyanagi No. 15 Spruce/IRW 1992, Stuttgart, Germany

- Type / luthier: classical, Kazuo Ichiyanagi Model 15
- Year of construction: 1992
- Scale length (mm): 650
- Nut width (mm): 52
- Top: solid Spruce with much medullary ray
- Back / Sides: solid Indian Rosewood
- Fingerboard: Ebony
- Sound: resonant bass (my guitar instructor especially loves it) with clear and open treble.
- Condition: in nearly mint condition.
Overall it’s actually in mint condition. Only due some superficial marks on back (belt buckle?) I put it in “nearly mint” condition, No cracks.
Soundboard, sides, neck, head, frets and mechanics are all in mint condition.
- Price: €1590, including a Hiscox Pro II GCL-M “Hanika” case. Buyer pays actual cost for shipping and payment fee if applicable. Please feel free to make a reasonable offer.
- Viewing / trial possible: Yes, in person, delicious espresso/cappuccino included :-)
- Location (nearest city): near Stuttgart, Germany

Luthier profile:
Kazuo Ichiyanagi is regarded as one of the top luthier in Japan and makes very high quality classical guitar in Kanie, Aichi Prefecture in Japan. Later his son Kunihiko joined him in the workshop. At the moment they are offering three models ranging from 350,000 JPY until 800,000 JPY.

The guitar:
Other than some superficial marks on the back, the guitar is in mint condition. While it’s not the top model in 1992, it shows the luthier’s excellent craftsmanship and attention to the details. The neck is thin and is very comfortable to play. The frets are in mint condition. The bass is deep and resonant (my guitar instructor especially loves the bass) and the treble is clear and open.

It is a very nice spruce/rosewood guitar, with which I hate to part.
Only selling to fund a commission with a delcamp luthier, which will be built soon.

Shipping:
Due to the Indian Rosewood (no CITES certificate), I can ship the guitar within European Union without problem.
Please consult for shipping outside EU.

I'd be happy to answer your questions or send you high quality pictures.

Leo
