I have a tungsten ring as well and wear it all the time when playing guitar without problems. I have on occasion tapped the back of the guitars neck with my ring which makes a fairly loud knocking noise but I have seen no ill effects on my guitar. Perhaps I could use this ring on guitar neck knocking technique for some sort of flamenco musical composition? Hmmmm..
I don't wear a wedding ring, but I do take off my wrist watch while playing.

My watch is big enough to cause some troubles unless I take it off of my left hand. I also tend to take off my wedding ring. I got married a couple of months ago, so it's not yet hard to remove it. I don't think my ring would make playing more dificult, but I want to make sure it won't scratch my guitar wood.
When I'm at home, I don't wear any rings. When I go to my lesson, I wear only my wedding band and don't wear my diamond engagement ring. I feel it's a distraction. I can't get either ring on my right hand.
I played in an ensemble one semester and only wore my wedding band. My ring does not hit the guitar.
I haven't noticed any problem wearing one, apart from a reduction in female interest, but it took me ages to work out what a strange noise on some recordings was... it turned out to be the wrsit strap on my watch rattling during any vibrato, so I now take that off.
