The lessons are in this section, namely On-line classical guitar lessons (scroll down to see them all). There are various levels of difficulty, D01, D02, etc. As a beginner you will want level D01, starting with lesson 01 here, then lesson 02 here, etc. You'll find more details about what to do here, and answers to many other questions indexed in the FAQs here.

Please register me for the lessons D01 (2017-2018). I have satisfied the conditions for participation:

1. I'm registered on the forum with my real forename and surname.
2. I have publicized the 2017-2018 course sessions in my school and let friends know about them as well.
3. I will post the recordings required for at least 7 out of the 10 lessons of the course.
4. I will listen to the recordings posted by the other students at the same level and comment on their work. This involves posting at least one message per week containing encouragement, constructive criticisms, or advice.

Thank you

Or is it better to join 2018-2019 lessons?

I’ve enrolled you to the student group. You are probably too late to do the exam this year, but do join in the lesssons and that will give you a head start on next September.

I just joined and I am slowly finding my way around this huge forum. It looks like I am too late for this year, as i assume I cannot download the material midway through the course? I would be keen to start a programme for 2018-2019.

I think I am around about level 3-4, but would like to do something such as this to measure my progress and help me improve further.

Hi Mark, you should already be able to download the scores for levels D01 to D03 without needing to register. For level D04 or above, you will need to wait until you have posted at least 20 messages and joined the 020 group. You can also already view the lessons. Registration is only needed if you are intending to participate actively in them, otherwise you can leave that until September when the next session starts.

Hi, just to clarify - if I'm looking to follow the lessons as an observer I'll be able to access the scores now that I'm making a second post, and I don't need to actually register for the lesson group?

Thank you!
