On a diet, my hunger is diminishing after a few weeks

Talk about things that are not necessarily related to music or the guitar.

Congrats Tubbers! Keep up the good work!
I was 204 lbs this morning. Would like to get under 200 this year. Daily exercise critical.
Trying to walk/jog 3k in 60 min. on treadmill.
Couldn’t run at all 3 years ago so big progress.

Yes, I dropped out of this thread as I realised my weight worries are comparatively trivial. My standard walking speed is 6k in 60 minutes. I'd suggest you don't try to jog, just walk at a comfortable speed. Unless you've had medical advice to the contrary.

Thank you. I've gotten back into skipping rope with a skip/rest routine and I do 10 reps of 35 skips each for now. It's a good workout.
Weighed in today at 193.2
I'd have probably gotten to 192 or so, but a baby was born (my girlfriend's daughter) and some celebration was in order. :)

Weighed in today at 191.8 and lo and behold I've gone from wearing an extra large 'Omar The Tent Maker' shirt to a medium.
Almost 45 pounds off in 11 months.

It's all about what you eat or don't eat. Stay away from bread products and simple sugars. Think hemp hearts, Maca root, Vega-one plant based smoothies with cold milk and Pure Munk Fruit (138 brand-Amazon) and milk thistle.

I'm 191 today at 6.3" 73 yr. old and did ten laps in my pool...not sure how I'll feel tomorrow.

Weighed in today at 190. Low for me but feeling great. Still 73 yrs. old...or young depending on perspective. Did I really say Depends?

How did you get almost three thousand post?

Weighed in today at 188.9 I'm back to eating my homemade chocolate candy and don't care if it's clogging my intestines. :D

I've been on this forum for almost 12 years. I remember 'owl' had over 10,000 posts. Wish she'd come back as her playing is amazing. Mmmmm.....chocolate!! :casque:

Would have liked to meet owl...wonder what happened to her. There was a girl a few years ago on the forum that posted about her beautiful melody and she was stuck what to do with it or how to proceed-was in 2015 and her post just stopped. Couldn't help but wonder if she finished her score. Someone said "the op is no longer a member." I guess we're op's. Not sure what that means. Does it stand for operator?

I find this forum extremely interesting. For some reason, you feel free to discuss things that can be of a personal nature (if you want to) and everyone so far has been very supportive and listens to you. It's like a form of therapy or maybe more like an extended family. I do notice the thing about friends and foes. Can you actually have a foe on the forum. Like you're going to get on a plane and travel around the world and look them up and bitch slap them or something. If you had a foe why even talk to them; or argue with them on an international specialized forum with someone you never met, or for that matter, will never meet. But everyone has been so nice and even helpful...oh no, I think I'm going to cry. But then I guess if you really become a smart a** on the forum the minders have ways of torturing you or giving you gentle reminders to play nice. But then again, maybe everyone just is nice and looking for communication. With almost three thousand post, I'm sure you've seen or heard it all. Nice to visit with other people who have the same thing in common-playing cg. Sorry, starting to ramble.
Regards,
David
With the post you have that kind of makes you one of the leaders.
