Thanks...I actually misspelled it 4 times, good clue I probably didn't know how to spell it in the first place. Thanks for pointing it out...you tend to lose something in an argument when you can't spell the word you're using in the argument...spelling has always been difficult for me and all I can say is thank God for spell checkers-I couldn't be a member of this forum with out their spell checker. Just one of my shortcomings I've had to learn to cope with.

David

Unfortunately, David, spell checkers can''t yet distinguish between 'flower' and 'flour'. 'Flower' is a blossom, and is correctly spelled, but I think you may have meant 'flour', the ground-up grain.
Nothing to worry about, though - apparently Shakespeare was bad at spelling, too, so you're in good company.

Is it time you re-titled this topic to "been vegan for 6 months"? Or did you fall off the wagon?

I've been veggy for 10 years without a problem. I've toyed with the idea of becoming vegan, I think that's the only way I can reconcile my diet with my own sense of ethics but alas I feel it would be too tough for me.

There is some similarity between the ethical argument for veganism and walking around naked because sweat-shops exist.

Better to do one than neither? Or you mean overkill?

If I read this right we’re saying for balance we should eat steaks naked and bundle up for salads?

If the 'you are what you eat' principle holds true, then steaks are just grass anyway.

Really funny. You’re really funny.

Waddya mean I’m funny?

It’s funny, y’know, the … the story. It’s funny. You’re a funny guy.

Waddya mean? You mean the way I talk? What?

It’s just, y’know, it’s … you’re just funny. It’s … you know, the way you tell the story and everything …

Funny how? I mean, what’s funny about it?

Just, you know, you’re funny.

I’m funny how, I mean funny like I’m a clown? I amuse you?

Cr...I misspelled another word! Can you appreciate the anxiety knowing you can't spell for s... and you are actually teaching JH students how to spell...amazing they never found out...but maybe they did after forty years. Also amazing about people and what they have to cope with...Shakespeare was into literature and writing and had problems with spelling and Einstein was a mathematician and didn't know his multiplication tables. Would be nice if this forum incorporated a voice recording feature where all you had to do is talk and the machine would write it down for you...imagine how much and how fast we could communicate. (how's the spelling? :P :P )

Great! We certainly live in a carnivore culture. I am mostly vegan but I don't inspect the ingredients of things like donuts.
