Don't you hate it when . . .

The news on TV has a banner running along the bottom that blocks something important, such as the translation of a person being interviewed?

Yup ... also white subtitles on a light background ... can't follow the movie at all.

Nature documentaries in which the scenes of nature are continually cut into by talking heads who want to explain what we're watching, but now not watching because we have to look at them instead. Why can't we have the explanations as background audio while the scenes of nature continue?

1.Split screen interviews conducted during basketball games while the game is being played.

2.Two announcers engaging in a long conversation about somebody or something (that is of interest only to them) when they are supposed to be commenting on the game in progress.

You know you are right, and someone else is insisting you are wrong . . . :D

When they shrink the credits and mute the music so they can tell you what's coming up next. They're frightened to death in case you dare to change the channel. Some of us want to stay in the mood and listen to the music and read the credits. Grrr

I never use the word hate, but I dislike cold calls during dinner time from companies trying to sell me something. I used to be polite to them, but nowadays I just disconnect without explanation.

There isn't enough time in a day to do all the things you want. And when you do get the time, you take a break to catch your breath and don't do anything.

When you click on a video of a performance and you have your speakers turned up all the way, then the first thing played is loud applause. Harsh.

When someone is driving 20 mph faster than everyone else on the highway, dodging dangerously from lane to lane in between cars to get ahead in a big rush, and when you pull off at your exit, he's right there in front of you waiting at the light.
