What music are you listening to right now?

Talk about things that are not necessarily related to music or the guitar.

I like Mandolin Orange too. They're from Chapel Hill, NC. I saw them the first time, several years ago, over at Ocracoke, at the Ocrafolk Festival. They were at Merlefest last year, and you don't get invited there unless you're pretty good.

This was awesome! I love their textures. I will have to check Fleabay for some CD’s.

I caught his performance of Take Five via another thread regarding his likeness to a certain American actor who's renowned for his dancing skills. Very impressive playing.

The Barefoot Movement's, "Christmas Album."
My wife and I saw them last night at the Old Theater in Oriental, and she wanted the cd.

Sia's new album "Everyday is Christmas". I have never listened to her other music, though.

I have been helping my friend now and then with his musical aspirations. Not really my favourite kind of music, but there's something quite appealing in this. I like the dark and strangely compelling atmosphere.

Both of Pat Coldrick's cds, Cayendo and Cityjam. I enjoy playing his Boyne Suite and I particularly like Antarctica; now if Pat were to publish the solo guitar sheet music for it, that would really make my Christmas warmer...
