I'm chowing down on a HUMONGOUS
salad I made just a little while ago. I tried to take a picture of it but both my digital camera batteries were drained.
So, I'll tell you what I put in it:
Romaine, spinach leaves, cherry tomatoes, yellow bell pepper, cucumber, onion, broccoli, avocado, walnuts, fresh cheddar cheese chunks (small), smoked turkey, a little Mrs. Dash, and some salt, balsamic vinegar and olive oil. YUM-YUM!
Uhm, remmus, it sounds like I finally met my match regarding salads. Mine tend to be very tasty as I put a lot of good ingredients in them, much like yours.
I prefer crumbled feta cheese on mine, and marinated artichokes.
Right now though I'm eating\drinking a smoothie made up of the simple ingredients below - no sugar.
1/2 cup low fat yogurt
1/2 1% fat free milk
1 ripe banana
1/2 cup frozen strawberries
1/2 cup frozen blueberries
1/2 tsp of cinamon
I blend all these ingredients into a thick shake the frozen fruits and carrot add texture and thickness, the banana & fruits add natural sugars, the dairy products add flavor & tangy tast. I can sip this for an hour as it's so tasty and rich.
I also put about 1/3 of a cup of Roasted edmame, soy beans, pistachios, almonds and salted pumpkin seeds into a baggie which I munch on throughout the day.
