Telemann, G. P. - Fantasia VI, TWV40 - Video

Post by optichero » Tue May 29, 2018 5:53 am

Fantasia VI
from 12 Fantasias for Violin without Bass, TWV 40 (1735)
composed by Georg Philipp Telemann (1681 - 1767)
arranged by Carlo Marchione

I. Grave
II. Presto
III. Siciliana
IV. Allegro

Really excited to share my first recording that I have done in a long time since my enlistment into national service! I stumbled across this arrangement of the Telemann by Marchione a while back and really enjoyed playing it. Thanks so much for watching!

Hi Kevin

thanks for sharing this. Beautiful performance of a piece by a composer that lived long time of his life in Hamburg.

Really superb Kevin!

Smallest thing I would suggest, I felt the fades-to-black mid-movement were confusingly long and hence distracting.

Enjoyed it.
Nice to hear a proper guitar? what is it?
The modern guitars don't sound like a guitar should.
Thanks for the recording.

I can hardly find more vivid playing than yours.
You are certainly a mature musician.
