It's fun to have a 10-string capo...After watching this, I thought I must try gut strings...

That was very pretty and soothing. Your new capo seems to work great. I couldn't tell from the pictures you put before, but what is the strap that goes around the back of the neck made of? I could only see the string that makes it tighten.

I have a 10-string capo, but I rarely use it. I don't think I have ever tried it with the Yepes tuning. Your video inspires me to give it a try.

It's just a nylon string, suspiciously like a guitar string...works fine.

You're not concerned it will dig into the wood? I would feel safer with a leather strap.

On closer inspection, the nylon string is covered by a thicker nylon tube. It's certainly not making any indents.

Rob, your posts have been among the most enjoyable (and sometimes informative) for me in the short time I have been on the forum. Thank you for sharing! This is beautiful music.

Cheers, Mr Rooster! I'm an outlier at best, one of those crazy folks who wander into town from God knows where, mumbling in a strange tongue, leaving people wondering if he speaks some truth, or is just plain mad. :-)
