This is evidence that music is one of many universal languages. While mathematics is often thought to be a universal language, as well, it is not so accessible as music. There are probably a few more, yet to be discovered. While it is undeniable that we are hard-wired; you could take that away. But the even larger idea here is that we are networked. That happened way before there was an internet.
