Thank you for this. I know nothing about Sr. Brouwer personally, but I've heard his name pop-up. I first learned of him when I heard Christopher Parkening's recording of "Berceuse (Cancion de Cuna)". It is strange that someone you've never heard of has done so much. I find these sorts of serendipitous discoveries exciting because it makes me feel like there is so much more out there to discover about the instrument, its music and its unlimited potential.
