Chopin Op. 9, No.2

Post by soltirefa » Fri Nov 09, 2018 7:56 pm

This guy plays so smooth and clean. His cross string ornaments sound like a piano. I see he transcribed this into D major and uses a capo on the 1st fret. Tarrega et al transcribed it in E major. I don't think it sounds nearly as good as this.

Really lovely playing but where's his face? He doesn't show it on any of his videos.
If you post a video on YouTube playing so beautifully please show your face :D

Wow, I think that was about the best guitar version of the piece I've heard. Really wonderful playing.

Wonderful indeed! Interesting if this could be the impact of the tonality change (the player is also very good)

Love how natural this sounds. Barely any string squeaking and can't even hear the nails hitting the strings. Seamless trills also!

Thanks for posting! I agree one of the more natural-sounding performances that really evokes the original composition. Glad I found this section of the forums!

Simply trilling. I'm sorry I couldn't help myself. Beautiful performance. :bravo:
