I saw this today and was blown away. I love Bach and she plays it so fluidly and picks out the melodies with such finesse, what a wonderful youngster!

Playing the guitar truly an easy thing for her to do.

Her teacher is my instructor for guitar pedagogy and didactics at the music university. His name is Stefan Schmidt. He's truly a vey good teacher and has got many very good students in this age.
For example this little guy as well. He's 8 years old!

Lol. Another young 'un. I'm afraid at this age I was kicking tin cans in the street, wearing shoes with holes in them.
I wonder if I'll get another chance? I think I deserve another go!

Perfect!

When I see someone like this girl playing I renew my hope for the future of the Classical Guitar. The art will survive!

Best regards!

She is amazing, great technique of course, but the tone and phrasing are just fantastic.

I'd seen that video before (it is a favorite pastime of mine to depress myself by watching prodigies on youtube :P), it's absolutely beautiful. She's going to be amazing when she's 20. (Not that she isn't now)

I was looking at some of the videos on his youtube account last week and again this morning and you're right, he has a ton of really talented students. Looking at his website (which is here for anyone who can read German) he clearly is an amazing pedagog, especially with young students. I'm sure he's amazing to study pedagogy with Jakob!

Remarkable. Such maturity - way beyond the usual 11 y.o. Are we certain she's only 11?

Great playing! I hope she gets good teaching, support and advice through her teenage years that builds on her innate talent.
