I kind of feel intuitively most of the time though I can’t always easily identify them.
The flat 9 idea interesting because not something I’d pick up on my own.
Delayed or split cadences very cool but again not always obvious to me. I do practice cadences with scales but the benefit of formal lessons is plain to see. Saving up for them.

Good luck, Smith. Intuition backed up by a working knowledge is the best combination. Having either one without the other leaves something wanting. But it takes time and commitment. Best wishes.
