Hard-to-find tremolo pieces by Eduardo Falu and Mario Parodi?

Post by guitarrista » Tue Jan 30, 2018 11:25 pm

Why is it so hard to find sheet music for these tremolo pieces?? They seem to be either impossible to even locate or out-of-print. I've exhausted my search skills. Does anyone have these for sale or know where to buy them from?
  • Parodi, Mario (1917-1970)
    • Panorama. Publisher RICORDI AMERICANA [BA 12757?] 1968.
  • Falu, Eduardo (1923 – 2013)
    • Murmullos De La Laguna (Tremolo). Publisher RICORDI AMERICANA [BA 12102].
    • Tremolo (Melodía). Publisher KORN [5082]. One hand-written version is floating on the intertubes but it does not match performances of this piece on youtube.
    • Nieve. This is supposed to be a tremolo piece, but I can't even find evidence that such a composition by Falu exists.
NOTE: The proper spelling of Eduardo Falu's surname is Falú. I assume search engines ignore the diacritical mark (though I have tried searching both ways).

These Falu works also feature extensive tremolo sections:

Vidalita (Ricordi BA 12694)
Preludio del pastor (Gitarre und Laute GL111)
La oracion (Ricordi BA 12171)

I have a hand-written version of "Tremolo", transcribed off an LP by Richard Stover in the 1970s.

Thank you, David. I knew about Vidalita and La Oracion, but not about the Preludio del pastor.

So, no one has heard of these tremolo pieces, or? Are there any Argentinians on this forum? Both of the composers were big in Argentina.

Probably you have already seen these sites, but just to be sure:

http://www.ricordi.com.br/produtos_deta ... w_ukey=721
http://www.musimed.com.br/murmullos-de- ... lo-p32280/

I do not read Portuguese, so I cannot tell if these actually can be purchased. Perhaps someone with more language skills can help.
