Does anyone know a good source for the complete works of Mertz?

Chanterelle published his works in 10 volumes (ed: Simon Wynberg) some years ago. Didn't spend a lot of time looking, but this is the only site I found that listed all 10 volumes.

http://www.flamenco-classical-guitar.com/index.php

(I have no idea how their prices/shipping compare.)

A number of individual pieces were published by Theodore Presser (ed: David Leisner).

Hi Lcschuet,
Actually after two posts, you gained entrance to the section;
Collection of classical guitar sheet music
viewforum.php?f=12
This contains (I think) Johann Kaspar MERTZ (1806-1856)
Capriccio opus 13 n°3 4 pages

also, if you use the search engine at the top of the face page, entering Mertz, you should get a lot of historical data regarding the subject, which includes;
Post subject: Une mine d'or : la bibliothèque royale danoise
viewtopic.php?t=1788&start=0&postdays=0 ... ight=mertz

Good luck on your search,

Russ :)

Hello Friend,

Try the DOS Amigos Homepage (http://members.home.nl/mark.erna). There you will find a Polka and two Nocturnes by Mertz.

Happy Playing!

Mark
