I can usually play for about an hour before the pain (from several areas) gets to be too much.
Black cherries? Is there any particular form?
I have an allergic reaction to many raw tree fruits, including cherries, but cooked is no problem....
Many we need a pie
I prefer the fresh ones, but when they are out of season, I get the frozen. I keep a couple of bags in the freezer year round and heat up a bowl in the microwave. I don't know about pie. A friend had "trigger finger" and gets the extract at a health food store and she said it worked.
My wife has inflammation in both lungs. She's not fond of the cherries but can hold her nose and drink cherry juice. We don't know if it's working, but she has some tests next month. If it doesn't work then she may have to go on steroids.
My brother also has gout. I've had it about 10 years longer. Mine has remained in my foot, his has spread to his knee. He's on indocin, I'm on cherries.
