Thanks for the reply...beautiful guitar, sorry I missed it.
David V.
You can buy my John Dick instead. Both cheaper and better in my view.
Thanks Peter...I'll keep in touch with you and do some research on John Dick guitars...thanks again for the reply.

Jabberwocky wrote:Beautiful rosette and construction. I am surprised that Peter has one for sale. I did not expect Peter to be a fan of double-tops. All the 8s in the serial number. You'd have fetched a royal ransom for it if you had posted it for sale in China.
NOW you tell me!!!
Jabberwocky wrote:Peter, do you know if Gernot makes solid 'traditional' non-sandwich topped guitars with his own bracing?
Sorry, I don't know for sure. I think he makes only DTs.

I visited Gernot's workshop last spring together with the young Giovanni Tacchi and he confessed that he is a big fan of Daniel Friederich (who isn't). He said he would love to build a traditionally braced guitar after so many years of double top constructing. Preferably a Friederich copy. Let's wait and see, what happens.

Andrea Tacchi, Enrique Garcia model, Spruce/BRAZ, 2016
