Nice guitar and sound, congrats! Thanks also for the video. The only thing I always hate to see is when players do not protect their right arms on the guitar, especially with French polish and especially with a guitar you don´t own. You will clearly see this on the polish later.

Cheers
Peter

Hello Douglass, gorgeous guitar! Any technical reason for the central rosewood panel in the back? Or is it only for aesthetics?
Thanks James. In theory it has an impact on the sound since it changes the mass and stiffness of the back compared to all maple - makes it a bit more rosewoody. But in reality I'm not sure I can hear a difference.

Thank you Peter. This guitar has been finished for a few months so the polish is not soft any more and can be played for some time without printing. But you are right, as a rule if you are diligent about protecting the French polish it can last for many years before needing a touch up.

Hello Douglass, I just wanted to compliment you on this beautiful instrument. I love the maple/rosewood back and elevated fingerboard, and it sounds simply amazing. I'm sure that whoever purchases this guitar will feel very lucky indeed! Best regards, John

Thanks John,
The guitar has found an owner who seems to be a perfect match. This particular combination of woods etc has been pretty popular, I've made a few like this in the past couple of years and am starting another now for the dealer Reverie Guitars in Indiana.
