Bottom Line:

This is Navarro's top of the line concert guitar, ordered brand new fall of 2017, but I bit off more than I can chew. There is no way I am ready for an instrument of this caliber, and I am scared to death to mar the finish, which is entirely french polish. It sounds amazing, far beyond my Cervantes, which in retrospect is all I need right now, as I am only learning, and it has nitro-cellulose finish. So I've kept this one in the case (the original case, which is included, and is a Humicase Protege).

It is 100% pristine mint, as like I said, I am scared to play it, and it's more guitar than I need. I will happily answer any questions, and allow a trial of the guitar to make sure it meets your needs, as long as it is returned without damage.

The sound is simply amazing.

I recently purchased the same model this past summer. It is a fantastic instrument and a phenomenal value for the money. If this luthier were in Spain or the US, these instruments would price at least an additional 40-50% or more. I believe Navarro suffers from somewhat lower visibility here in the US, however this translates to much lower overhead costs to the purchaser through Memorial Music in Houston, his US distributor.

Very nice. I just wished you didn't place it on brick to take pics. Even if you were careful, why risk it? No one's hands are steady.

I cringed at first too but I think it's just perspective. It looks like it's sitting straight up on a short stool, which makes sense. I don't think it's touching the bricks, but only the OP knows..

I didn't take the brick pictures, Ron at Memorial Music did, the day he received it in, and I told him I was dying to see it before he shipped it to me, having waited so long for it to be finished. And I asked the same question about the bricks - he told me it is standing on a stool, with the bricks well behind it, and he certainly knows what he is doing.

My pictures were taken on a bed comforter (on my bed). Of course.

The guitar is flawless, not even the slightest mar or cloudiness or anything.

I would consider a lesser guitar fully nitrocellulose lacquer, plus cash. Like one of the 135 Ramirez with a cedar top. I think that's better for someone who is studying (at a leisurely pace).

I can tell you that the little I played on it I realized it was way out of my league. I do not desire the loudness and clarity of this guitar.

I would take a lacquered lesser guitar plus cash, something more appropriate for a student.

Let's make a deal

Does it have a six hole bridge or a 12 hole bridge?

12 hole bridge. However it can be strung using only 6 if you prefer.
