This is a guitar made out of a collaboration between Dieter Hopf and Manuel Adalid. The bracing is lattice based (see picture below) with the braces reinforced by carbon fibers.
The guitar is amazingly loud, and at the same time very sweet and easy to play. Florian Larousse won the GFA playing this model (with a cedar top).
This is a very good guitar, offering outstanding value for money. I went to buy this guitar directly in Adalid´s workshop in Alboraya, which is why I can offer it so cheap (new price is €4,600 in Hopf's catalogue).
The guitar is in excellent condition. There is a minor string mark below the bridge at high-E (see picture).
It has been recently revised by luthier Romuald Provost in Paris (who made sure all frets are straights and aligned hence no problems with buzz). Guitar action is standard (with close to 5 mm in low E on 12th fret).
The reason for selling is that I have too many guitars. I have developped a preference for traditional built over time, hence this one is a good candidate for selling. However each time I play it again I am amazed by the sound and I realize that I will miss it.
I can provide anyone interested with some sound samples via pm.
