Sor, Fernando - op.09 Variations on a theme by Mozart - D10 Video

Post by Daniele Magli » Sat Sep 26, 2015 1:08 pm

This morning I played Mozart variations op.9 by Sor...
and this is my video.
It's a great piece, very modern for classical guitar.
Sorry for many mistakes,
I played better this fantastic piece when I was 21 years old
but I hope you'll find something good in my rendition.

Thank you

Fingered by Ruggero Chiesa ( suvini zerboni editions ) :

it is possible I make some changes influenced by Segovia and Manuel Barrueco renditions ( and by my experience as well )
especially when I improvised changes of fingering in the choruses of musical variations...

:bravo: Daniele!

You were exceptionally free with the rhythm, (for my taste), but I still enjoyed it. :)

Your performance had a nice flow and great flamboyancy about it. I'm not keen on staid performances and yours was anything but that! :casque:

:merci:

I just can not stand staid and motionless as many classical guitarists.
Sometimes I'd like it because I would do less mistakes ... but it is impossible for me.

wonderful music excites me and I have to move... so... yes I'm exceptionally free !

Thank you very much
