the offset left hand fingering that I mentioned above is probably the one I used the most. When I wanted fingering just above the note (and not to the left, or above the beam) I used this
On your image, I notice that you have created a modified LH style. Do you know that you didn't have inevitably to do this with the 2.3.2, but simply by changing the default settings (ie, -0.50 / 0.00 to your 0,90/-1,20), and save the score as a Template?
And with each new score, you never have to change fingering via the Inspector and your custom style, since it already is.
Unless you prefer to have both possible settings available (the default one, and yours custom?)
For the moment, with 3.0, you cannot create a custom style for fingering (in Style / Text Styles / User-1 etc.) I do not want to predict the future too quickly, but I think that this could be restored. As already said, these text Styles have been deeply reworked, and this will continue to evolve over the next few updates.
In addition, currently, the program doesn't distinguish between the first set of numbers in the palette, and the second set. This will quickly be reviewed too.
But meanwhile it's tempting to see how automatic placement works in Style / Text styles / LH fingering. When you change the settings, you see the fingerings move live (in real time) on your score.
