I have certainly turned my guitars down half a tone at times by accident or deliberately. Some guitars sound better at a lower A value and some don't. There is nothing magic about A=440 or A=432 or any other arbitrary value. If you are playing in any kind of ensemble then all the players need to be in tune with each other apart from that it doesn't matter a damn what you decide the value of A should be.
Totally agree. Some guitars sound better at a lower A440 and some do not. If you play at home by yourself, it does not matter what you decide A440, 432...
My Juan Hernandez Torres is good at A432, so as Otto Vowinkel Concert. However Cordoba C9 is not good at A432.
