Paganini, Niccolo - Caprice No. 24 - Video

Post by PaulHimSelf » Sat Jul 29, 2017 7:12 pm

About Caprice XXIV
Caprice XXIV is the final Caprice of Niccolo Paganini’s 24 Solo Caprices, his only violin publication, and a famous work for solo violin. He never performed his Caprices in public. Instead, he dedicated them to the artists. Clearly, his set of 24 solo Caprices is his legacy, where all his top notched techniques can be found. It was made to propel the next generation of performing artists into new heights of playing.

Very fine, congratulations!

I'd just like to add that adding an excerpt from a piece not featured in the main video as a intro/signature tune-type thing was really really confusing! Honestly, you don't have to do that, it works in videos which are mostly talking etc, but not, imo, in performances like this.

I especially like the consistency of your tone and your overall technique- very very nice. Always a pleasure to hear scale passages played really well too.
Also thx for the background info.
